The year is already halfway, and since our last newsletter, we had many opportunities to reach out to people's needs. JESUS-film outreaches were held on several farms in Western Cape Aurora, Bo-Piketberg and Robertson area. Emphasis was on Evangelism, Assurance of Salvation, Spiritual Growth, Alcohol abuse and the impact of Aids. Apart from that, we also ministered to people through e-Mentoring and Industrial Ministry.
“Thank you so much. I just invited Jesus into my life. I love the conclusion part of the prayer which says, ‘make me the person you want me to be Lord’ “
Your faithful prayers and/or financial support keep us strong and going!!! We pray that the Lord will pour his blessings over you. YOUR INVESTMENT in our ministry is an investment in God’s Kingdom!!
SHALOM!! “SHALOM is a Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare and tranquility and can be used idiomatically to mean both hello and goodbye. As it does in English, it can refer to either peace between two entities (especially between man and God or between two countries), or to the well-being, welfare or safety of an individual or a group of individuals.” (Wikipedia)
So today, I pray SHALOM for you!!
JESUS-Film Outreach on a farm in the Western Cape. Even after the film has started, people keep on arriving till there are no more chairs available.
People's thoughts are captured when they see how Jesus is crucified. We normally show the film over 3 consecutive nights to make sure the foundation is laid strong.
The most important part of the outreach is the teaching that takes place every evening immediately after the show. Here Pieter emphasize the importance of Assurance of Salvation. This group in a small village in Bo-Piketberg was mainly young people - important, because they are the leaders of tomorrow.
