Pieter’s News Bit – August ‘25

With a heart full of gratitude, I’d like to share something special with you.

So far this year, I had the grace to send no fewer than 1500 letters – straight from my computer – to individuals in India and across South Africa. These letters were not just ordinary messages; they carried the fruit of mentoring, online training, spiritual encouragement, and prayer – all with the aim of building up and equipping believers.

Although the Google Adwords campaigns I use to advertise this ministry are becoming quite expensive, I am filled with joy to see how they bring the right people – Christians who are hungry for more – to my “online doorstep.” It truly feels like the Lord is guiding them here Himself.

My course section on my website has become like an ice cream shop – colourful, inviting, and full of spiritual “flavours” that bring people back for more.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. Every click, every message, every interaction is a chance to let the Light shine a little further.

Division of Work:

In every ministry, just like in any organisation, it’s important that there’s harmony and teamwork – especially when we take the GREAT COMMISSION of Matthew 28:18–20 seriously. Magdaleen and I have the privilege of working together as a team – each in our own role, but with the same heart: to carry the light of Jesus further.

She works with great dedication on the administrative side of our ministry, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes – quietly, faithfully, and with a gentle strength. Without her support, it would have been much harder for me to live out my calling effectively.

I, in turn, am more on the “front line” – gathering the harvest and connecting with people.

Each of us has our place, our task, our calling – and it’s together, in unity, that the fruit becomes ripe.

My prayer for you is taken from Ecclesiastes 9:7–10:

“Wear white clothes as if you are celebrating. Put oil on your head and drink wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved of what you do… Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”

May you live out your calling today with joy and wholeheartedness.

Met ‘n hart vol dankbaarheid wil ek iets besonders met jou deel.

Tot op hede vanjaar, het ek die genade ontvang om nie minder nie as 1500 briewe, reg vanuit my rekenaar, te stuur aan individue in Indië en regoor Suid-Afrika. Hierdie briewe is nie sommer net boodskappe nie; dit dra die vrug van mentoring, aanlyn opleiding, geestelike verryking en gebed – alles met die doel om gelowiges aan te moedig en toe te rus.

Hoewel die Google Adwords-veldtogte waarmee ek hierdie bediening adverteer nogal duur begin raak, sien ek met blydskap hoe dit die regte mense – Christene wat honger is na meer – tot by my “aanlyndeur” bring. Dis asof die Here self hulle inlei.

My kursus afdeling op my webblad het soos ‘n roomyswinkel geword – kleurvol, aantreklik en vol Geestelike “geure” wat mense terugbring vir nog meer.

Dankie dat jy saam met my op hierdie pad stap. Elke klik, elke boodskap, elke interaksie is ‘n kans om die Lig verder te laat skyn.

Werksverdeling:

In elke bediening, soos in enige organisasie, is dit belangrik dat daar harmonie en samewerking is – veral as ons die GROOT OPDRAG van Matteus 28:18-20 ter harte neem. Ek en Magdaleen het die voorreg om as ’n span saam te werk, elk in ons eie rol, maar met dieselfde hart: om Jesus se lig verder te dra.

Sy werk met toewyding aan die administratiewe kant van ons bediening en hou dinge agter die skerms aan die gang – stil, getrou en met ’n sagte krag. Sonder haar ondersteuning sou dit baie moeiliker gewees het om my roeping effektief uit te leef. Ek is op my beurt meer op die “frontlinie” – besig om die oes in te bring en met mense in kontak te wees.

Ons elkeen het ons plek, ons taak, ons roeping – en dit is juis saam, in eenheid, dat die vrugte ryp word.

My gebed vir jou is samgevat uit Prediker 9:7-10:

“Dra wit klere asof jy feesvier. Sit olie in jou hare en drink wyn met ‘n vrolike hart, want God het lankal reeds in jou dade behae gevind… Alles wat jy aanpak, doen dit met oorgawe…”

Mag jy vandag jou roeping met vreugde en oorgawe uitleef.
