REPORT ON ACTIVITIES OF 2021

Looking back on 2021, I am very grateful for Grace, Goodness & Favour from the Father’s hand. Your participation ensured that 2021 was a huge success, and that several highlights could be reached. In total, our ministry reached 12 000 people through various legs of our ministry.

When we reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ, you are also part of our success. Thank you so much for your participation and especially prayers. Your prayers protect us against the evil arrows of the enemy.

I’m excited and look forward to the new challenges and opportunities of 2022.

HEALTH 2021

In mid-December I had shoulder surgery. After 6 weeks in a sling, my shoulder is still in the process of healing and physiotherapy. Pray for total mobility.

Magdaleen went for several medical tests in November after a tough year of loss of energy and health problems. Problems that have been identified are being addressed. Her energy levels are also increasingly better.

MENTORING

Mentoring continues strongly, especially the one emanating from an Indian website, where I have the opportunity to mentor mostly Hindu and Muslim people.

Testimonies:

• After nearly 30 brief mentoring conversations with a Muslim man, he wrote: “I love Jesus!”
• Another person testified: “Thank you for the response Pieter. The Lord has been helping me and He moved big time on my behalf yesterday, shedding light on my issues and I’m moving forward. Thank you for your prayers. I’m open to whatever you want to share with me.”

SCHOOL MINISTRY

I would like to remind you to keep praying for more than 15 000 learners at 23 schools where spiritual seed has been sown over the last 3 years. Pray that there will be a gentle rain to not only help the seeds germinate, but also to grow them to maturity. Further pray that these learners will develop into future Christian leaders in our country.

JESUS-FILM

Despite Covid-19, we have hosted several successful JESUS-Film outreaches and presentations at target areas on farms.

NEW OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES

Campus Crusade for Christ has released a new movie series: Walking with Jesus. It is available in many languages ​​and I started using it in my ministry on farms and in communities.

It’s a series of 5 half-hour films that cover the whole spectrum of growth and follow-up. It gives the new believer a solid foundation of the New Life with Christ. This is a very effective series to use with your workers.

INDUSTRIAL MINISTRY

Despite lockdown and Covid19, I could still carry on with Industrial Ministry. Every month there were at least 120 exposures to the Gospel because of it.

MY PRAYER FOR YOU

A Living Sacrifice

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.

Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
